Senior Risk Manager & Scheduler- Offshore Wind

Ramboll Switzerland seeks a Senior Risk Manager & Scheduler for offshore wind projects. This remote role leads project controls, risk assessment, and scheduling within the global Wind organization.

Operating within the global Wind organization and its Strategy & Commercial sub-service area, this position plays a pivotal part in delivering and advancing project control services specifically for offshore wind initiatives. The role ensures robust governance and risk management throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Create and upkeep integrated project schedules.
• Establish frameworks, governance models, and reporting standards for both offshore and onshore wind projects.
• Organize risk workshops and manage project risk registers.
• Conduct qualitative and quantitative risk assessments, including schedule and cost risk analysis.
• Formulate mitigation strategies and track the effectiveness of risk reduction measures.
• Assist with project governance, Front-End Investment Decision (FID) preparation, and executive reporting.
• Provide project controls guidance across development, procurement, fabrication, installation, and commissioning stages.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to team capability building.
• Aid in business development, proposal writing, and maintaining strategic client relationships.
• Enhance methodologies and digital tools through continuous improvement efforts.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of experience in offshore wind or major energy infrastructure projects.
• Deep expertise in project controls, PMO functions, and risk management.
• Practical experience with scheduling tools like Primavera P6 or similar software.
• Proven ability to perform Monte Carlo-based quantitative schedule and cost risk analyses.
• Strong commercial acumen and experience presenting to client executives and investment stakeholders.
• A collaborative approach, analytical mindset, structured communication skills, and a clear focus on client needs.
