Senior Software Engineer

b-rayZ seeks a Senior Software Engineer in Zürich to lead the development of AI-based medical devices for early breast cancer detection, requiring Python/JS skills and IEC 62304 knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain software modules, including applications, database connections, and interface integrations.
• Guarantee that all software development processes adhere to the IEC 62304 lifecycle standard for medical devices.
• Work closely with other teams to ensure projects align with both business goals and compliance requirements.
• Manage product testing, deployment activities, and the resolution of software defects.
• Perform code reviews and provide feedback to colleagues to maintain high code quality.
• Design and execute unit tests and verification procedures to solve complex technical problems.
• Assess external partners and oversee the programming and outsourcing of specific software modules.

Requirements

• At least two years of professional experience in software development.
• Strong coding skills in Python and JavaScript.
• Solid knowledge of relational database systems.
• Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.

• Familiarity with IEC 62304 or FDA regulations, particularly within the medtech sector.
• Background in developing user interfaces and applications.
