This position places the engineer at the center of interdisciplinary teams, bridging electronics, microelectronics, software, mechanics, and electromechanics. The role focuses on guiding technical projects from initial concept through verification, ensuring that system designs meet strict customer needs and high-quality standards within highly regulated industries.
Responsibilities
- Direct technical projects from start to finish.
- Organize and oversee design, development, and verification tasks.
- Establish and control requirements throughout every project stage.
- Collaborate with clients to create system concepts based on their specific needs.
- Design system architectures, specifications, and interface definitions.
- Create and update system-level budgets, including power and mass calculations.
- Assist in the development lifecycle, covering design, verification, and validation.
- Maintain adherence to rigorous quality standards.
- Draft and update technical documentation.
Requirements
- A BSc or MSc in electrical engineering, electronics, software engineering, or a related field.
- At least six years of professional experience as a System Engineer for embedded systems.
- Solid understanding of electronic, software, and mechanical interfaces and their architectures.
- Professional working proficiency in English.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of German and/or French is advantageous.
- Prior experience within the space industry is beneficial.
