ServiceNow Technical Architect

SUMMIT RECRUITMENT AG seeks a Senior ServiceNow Technical Architect for an on-site role in Switzerland. The position requires fluent German and English to lead technical design and implementation for German-speaking clients.

This position focuses on the end-to-end technical leadership of ServiceNow projects. The architect will design and build platform solutions while guiding development teams through the entire project lifecycle. A key aspect of the role is bridging technical concepts with business needs for German-speaking stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Architect and deploy ServiceNow solutions that align with business goals and industry standards.
• Work directly with clients to define requirements and map business processes to platform capabilities.
• Mentor development teams and provide technical direction to ensure high-quality delivery.
• Analyze current systems to find opportunities for optimization and improvement.
• Create and update technical documentation, including architecture diagrams and workflow designs.
• Keep abreast of new ServiceNow features and trends to improve solution quality.
• Communicate technical details clearly to both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders, primarily in German.

Requirements

• Native-level fluency in German and strong proficiency in English.
• Demonstrated experience as a ServiceNow Technical Architect with deep platform knowledge.
• Strong skills in ServiceNow development, including JavaScript, Glide scripting, and integrations.
• Hands-on experience with custom application development on the platform.
• Familiarity with ITSM and ITOM modules.
• Solid grasp of ITIL processes and best practices.
• Strong analytical abilities to troubleshoot complex technical challenges.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a team and lead technical discussions.
