Software Developer Compliance Tools

The company seeks a mid-level Software Developer to build and maintain automated compliance workflows, integrations, and reporting dashboards using Python, ServiceNow, and GitHub Actions in a hybrid role based in Basel.

This position is responsible for engineering automated solutions that streamline recurring control activities, evidence collection, and exception handling. The developer will connect various platforms to enhance audit accuracy and provide clear visibility into compliance metrics through custom dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Create and upkeep automated processes for routine control tasks, evidence gathering, and managing exceptions.
• Establish connections between ServiceNow, GitHub, Microsoft 365 tools, and internal workflow platforms.
• Streamline evidence collection for internal audits to boost accuracy, traceability, and speed.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions for scripts, ServiceNow updates, and Power Automate flows.
• Set up automated notifications and escalation paths for delayed controls, policy breaches, and CMDB data issues.
• Develop dashboards and reports to offer transparent insights into control status, compliance health, and process KPIs.

Requirements

• Five to eight years of software development experience, emphasizing backend technologies and automation.
• Proven recent proficiency in Python, REST and GraphQL API integration, GitHub Actions, and secrets/environment management.
• Practical experience with ServiceNow, preferably covering ITSM, ITAM, and ITGRC, along with Flow Designer and Business Rules.
• Familiarity with CMDB, Discovery, PowerShell, Hybrid AD scripting, and JSON/XML data manipulation.
