Amazon Rivr is developing advanced autonomous robots for last-mile delivery, leveraging Physical AI to navigate complex urban environments. This position supports that mission by ensuring robust software deployment, infrastructure automation, and seamless collaboration between robotics and software engineering teams.
Responsibilities
- Design and sustain continuous integration and delivery pipelines for robotics applications, including the expansion of observability and telemetry systems.
- Partner with software and robotics developers to automate infrastructure setup and optimize operational workflows.
- Enforce standards for code security, version control, and reproducible builds.
- Oversee development environments and containerization platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Diagnose and fix infrastructure or deployment challenges.
- Create and update documentation to support team knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
- Minimum of three years of professional experience in DevOps or a similar capacity.
- Demonstrated expertise with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Proven track record using CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
- Hands-on experience with C++ build systems, particularly CMake.
- Working knowledge of version control systems, specifically Git.
Nice to have
- Background in robotics software development or a comparable technical area.
- Experience implementing infrastructure as code solutions, such as Terraform.
- Familiarity with the ROS2 framework.
