This position focuses on driving the evolution of the Speechify iOS application, targeting both new user acquisition and the execution of innovative projects. The ideal candidate will combine strategic thinking with hands-on engineering to deliver high-quality user experiences in a dynamic, fast-moving environment.
Responsibilities
- Drive major engineering and product choices
- Write and deploy production code for the iOS application
- Collaborate within a specialized product squad
- Contribute to roadmap planning through active product discussions
- Refactor and improve the current complex app structure
Requirements
- Proven history of building products that reached significant scale
- Experience taking products from early stages to traction while owning the engineering side
- Proficiency in Swift and SwiftUI
- Strong background in multithreading programming
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
- Hands-on experience using Fastlane
- Solid understanding of SOLID principles and ability to apply them in code
- Competence with Git and knowledge of various branching strategies
