OPTIML AG seeks a Solution Consultant to guide institutional real estate clients in using their AI platform for investment and asset management decisions. This hybrid role is based in Zurich, London, or Berlin.
The company is looking for a professional to serve as the primary post-sales contact for investment-side users. The position focuses on helping clients integrate the software into their daily operations, ensuring they can effectively interpret data to make informed financial and strategic decisions. The role sits at the intersection of delivery, customer success, product, and commercial teams.
Responsibilities
- Manage the onboarding process for asset managers, fund managers, and transaction teams.
- Conduct independent training sessions to help users navigate the platform within their specific workflows.
- Adapt the software’s capabilities to role-specific scenarios, including asset strategy, capital expenditure prioritization, portfolio management, and investment committee preparation.
- Provide ongoing advisory support to clients, particularly regarding financial and investment-related use cases.
- Assist customers in applying the tool to real-world internal processes and decision-making.
- Collaborate with delivery, customer success, and commercial colleagues to ensure smooth implementation and early value realization.
- Document recurring user questions, workflow challenges, and feature requests.
- Translate customer needs into actionable feedback for the product and delivery teams.
- Develop deep expertise in how investment-side real estate professionals think and operate.
- Create and update onboarding materials, training assets, and customer-facing guidance documents.
Requirements
- Two to five years of experience in institutional real estate, real estate finance, asset management, fund management, or a related client-facing role.
- Demonstrated ability to support financial and investment use cases within the real estate sector.
- Strong communication skills with the confidence to guide sophisticated users through complex workflows and decision logic.
- Capability to independently onboard, train, and support users in a software environment.
- A highly organized, structured, and proactive work style.
- Strong analytical and presentation abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and German.
- Commitment to becoming a power user of the Optiml platform and continuously deepening software knowledge.
- Swiss or EU citizenship, or valid work authorization.
Nice to have
- Direct experience working with institutional asset managers, fund managers, transaction teams, real estate private equity, or investment portfolio teams.
- Background in PropTech, SaaS, or software-enabled workflows for real estate.
- Experience training clients, internal teams, or users in structured tools or systems.
- Solid understanding of how institutional real estate decisions are prepared, challenged, and communicated.
- Prior experience in customer success, delivery, implementation, or solution consulting within a B2B software environment.
- Exposure to sustainability, decarbonization, or capital expenditure decision-making in real estate.
- Experience preparing committee-ready materials, investment recommendations, or decision-support outputs.
- Familiarity with data-heavy workflows.
