Solutions Engineer, APAC

Solana AG seeks a bilingual Solutions Engineer for the APAC region to manage technical integrations with strategic partners, acting as the primary liaison between external exchanges and internal engineering teams.

This position serves as the central technical bridge for Ondo’s expansion into the Asia-Pacific market. The engineer will guide exchanges, custodians, and wallets through the integration process, ensuring smooth adoption of Ondo’s infrastructure while providing critical feedback to internal product and engineering groups to refine the platform.

Responsibilities

• Direct technical integration efforts with key partners throughout the APAC territory.
• Act as the main technical contact during onboarding, implementation, launch phases, and ongoing support.
• Partner with Business Development teams during technical assessments, architectural reviews, and due diligence processes.
• Resolve complex technical challenges by coordinating closely with Engineering and Product departments.
• Establish strong technical relationships with partner engineering teams and provide guidance throughout the integration lifecycle.
• Oversee successful partner launches and drive post-launch adoption and technical success.
• Convert partner feedback into actionable product improvements and advocate for platform enhancements.
• Enhance the developer experience by identifying friction points and improving documentation, tooling, and integration workflows.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Product, Business Development, and Operations to ensure partner success.
• Stay updated on blockchain infrastructure, tokenization, APIs, and digital asset ecosystem trends.

Requirements

• Five or more years in Solutions Engineering, Technical Account Management, Forward Deployed Engineering, Developer Relations, or a comparable technical customer-facing role.
• Solid foundation in software or systems engineering, with the ability to understand APIs, distributed systems, and blockchain infrastructure.
• Professional experience in crypto, digital assets, blockchain infrastructure, or Web3.
• Proven track record of supporting technical integrations with external partners or enterprise customers.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to independently own partner relationships and drive projects from discovery through production launch.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a bias toward execution.
• Experience collaborating closely with product and engineering teams to resolve technical issues and improve products.
• Fluency in both Mandarin Chinese and English is required.
• Willingness to maintain regular overlap with U.S.-based teams (approximately 8–10 hours per week).

Nice to have

• Experience supporting exchange integrations, institutional trading infrastructure, or digital asset custody platforms.
• Experience with DeFi protocols, tokenization platforms, or real-world asset infrastructure.
• Previous experience at organizations such as Binance, Coinbase, Kraken, OKX, Anchorage, Paxos, Chainlink, Consensys, or similar blockchain companies.
• Experience working with REST APIs, SDKs, blockchain nodes, smart contracts, or developer tooling.
• Background in Developer Relations, Technical Account Management, or customer implementation roles.
• Familiarity with institutional financial markets, trading infrastructure, or capital markets.
