Strategic Projects Associate

SIKA seeks a Strategic Projects Associate in Zurich to drive growth and efficiency through data analysis and cross-functional collaboration within the Strategy Team.

This position sits within the Strategy Team, providing direct exposure to senior stakeholders and Group Management. The primary purpose is to design and deliver solutions that enhance business efficiency and support growth by working closely with various departments.

Responsibilities

• Analyze data and define actionable steps with Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Operations teams to address major business challenges.
• Identify new opportunities within available data to generate valuable insights that support business growth.
• Assist countries and regions in reviewing strategic business plans and translating them into operational footprints through workshops, project management, and presentation guidance.
• Analyze the impact of M&A activities on country masterplans and support local teams during integration processes.
• Improve existing processes and develop new solutions, leading their rollout across country organizations.
• Draft presentations and data visualizations for top management using insights from data analysis, workshops, and research.
• Build strong links with cross-functional teams to introduce and expand innovative solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3-4 years of experience in strategic projects and data analysis at a top consulting firm.
• Proven experience in analysis, process and concept design, and implementation phases in a workstream lead role.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).
• Based in Zurich.

• Knowledge of data visualization software (e.g. Tableau, BI)
• German language proficiency
