This internship sits within the 'Taste the Future' initiative designed to launch engineering careers. Based at the Bern production site known for Toblerone, the position functions as an Asset Reliability Internship where the candidate will support equipment performance and maintenance planning.

Responsibilities

  • Help evaluate and enhance the criticality, performance, and reliability of production equipment.
  • Take part in organizing preventive and corrective maintenance tasks to keep operations running smoothly.
  • Gather and examine technical information regarding equipment breakdowns, downtime, and overall asset health.
  • Help create, update, and review maintenance schedules, spare parts inventories, and work instructions.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts and internship projects aimed at boosting reliability, streamlining processes, and cutting costs.
  • Maintain adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

Requirements

  • Currently in the final year of or recently graduated from a technical program such as Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a similar field.
  • Demonstrated interest in maintenance, asset reliability, manufacturing, and production processes.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Possess strong analytical abilities, problem-solving skills, and a keen eye for detail.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Proactive mindset, eagerness to learn, and ability to work well within a team.

Nice to have

  • German language skills.
