Neuralconcept seeks a Tech Lead Vertical Solutions in Lausanne, CH, to design and deliver AI-powered engineering workflows using Python. The role involves leading development, integrating with CAD/CAE specialists, and contributing to the company’s platform with reusable components. Hybrid work model with up to 2 remote days per week.
Neuralconcept’s Vertical Solutions team creates streamlined, production-ready engineering workflows powered by AI. As a Lead Engineer, you will own the design and delivery of Python-first solutions for specific industry applications, collaborating with product managers and customers to define roadmaps and integrate design, simulation, and machine learning. You will work closely with CAD and CAE experts to implement and evolve these workflows, while identifying reusable components to enhance the Neuralconcept platform and accelerate adoption across applications.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and delivery of AI-driven engineering workflows for specific industries, integrating them into the Neuralconcept platform for scalable use.
- Act as the primary Python developer: define clean interfaces with CAD/CAE specialists, own coding, testing, CI, packaging, and releases.
- Contribute reusable components to the Neuralconcept platform to ensure consistency and innovation.
- Identify recurring challenges in active projects and develop standardized templates, presets, and best practices.
- Engage with reference customers and end users to collect feedback and promote adoption.
- Assist in creating and reviewing documentation, playbooks, and hands-on training materials.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience leading and shipping production Python tools in fast-paced, cross-functional teams.
- Strong hands-on Python development skills with expertise in packaging, testing (pytest), CI, code review, documentation, and git.
- Ability to provide technical leadership and architecture while remaining actively involved in development for vertical workflows; skilled in integrating external tools and defining clean data/interfaces for specialists.
- Clear and concise communicator who collaborates effectively across teams.
- Located in Lausanne or willing to relocate; hybrid work model with up to 2 remote days per week.
Nice to have
- Experience in industries such as automotive, aerospace, or energy, along with familiarity with product design processes.
- Familiarity with CAD and/or CAE tools.
- Experience with machine learning and common libraries including scikit-learn, PyTorch, and TensorFlow.
