Technology & Innovation Lead, Process Equipment DS (f/m/d)

Takeda Pharma AG seeks a Technology & Innovation Lead for Process Equipment in Zürich to drive DS technology strategies, innovation roadmaps, and digitalization efforts across global sites.

The company is looking for a professional to lead and coordinate technology visions and execution roadmaps for DS equipment technologies. The primary objective is to accelerate innovation programs and enhance network performance through strategic process engineering leadership.

Responsibilities

• Define and own components of the innovation roadmap for process engineering strategies.
• Benchmark DS technology selections against industry peers and best-known methods.
• Scout for emerging technologies and participate in industry forums to identify new solutions.
• Convert emerging solutions into value-based, deployable initiatives.
• Drive DS technology strategies that utilize digitalization to improve decision-making speed and operational control.
• Lead process engineering contributions by defining technical strategies and supporting manufacturing across multiple sites.
• Evaluate existing processes and equipment to define improvements in yield, efficiency, robustness, and operability.
• Establish and lead technology groups and Communities of Practice to harmonize engineering technologies.
• Ensure the sharing and application of best practices and expertise across the network.
• Author standards, guidelines, and templates for DS process equipment technologies.
• Drive consistent interpretation and application of standards across the network.
• Maintain sustained, collaborative communication with the process engineering community.
• Provide technical SME support to CAPEX investment projects, Design Engineering, and investment applications.
• Support feasibility studies, FEED, scope definition, value engineering, and vendor audits/selection.
• Lead evaluation of equipment design selection criteria supporting network strategy, capital investments, lifecycle management, and tech transfer.

• Skills in technology scouting.
• Knowledge of digitalization applications.
• Experience with CAPEX projects.
• Familiarity with FEED processes.
• Experience conducting vendor audits.
