Takeda Pharma AG seeks a Global Lead for Technology Operations & Facility Fit in Zürich to oversee equipment governance, facility assessments, and cross-functional integration for manufacturing excellence.
The company is looking for an experienced engineering leader to establish enterprise governance for equipment operations and drive facility-fit innovations. This role aims to enhance competitiveness, ensure strict regulatory compliance, and safeguard the reliability of patient supply by aligning manufacturing capabilities with global network strategies.
Responsibilities
- Assess current equipment operations and introduce enhancements to boost efficiency, reliability, and product quality metrics such as throughput and overall equipment effectiveness.
- Conduct evaluations of facilities and process equipment, establishing design criteria that support capital investments, lifecycle management, and technology transfer while adhering to regulatory standards.
- Foster technology innovation via subject matter expert groups, ensuring solution standardization, effective troubleshooting, and appropriate technology selection.
- Serve as the central integration point across Manufacturing, Quality, EHS, Supply Chain, Digital, Procurement, and Finance, managing critical supplier ecosystems to remove delivery blockers and communicate strategic progress.
Requirements
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Process, Industrial, or Systems Engineering, or a closely related field.
- Possess over ten years of progressive experience in pharmaceutical engineering or a similar sector, demonstrating deep knowledge of GxP compliance and EHS standards, including ICH, FDA, CMC, ISPE, and PDA guidelines.
- Showcase strong leadership abilities, including problem-solving, decision-making, and influencing skills, with a proven history of driving alignment and managing change within global matrix organizations.
- Demonstrate solid expertise in engineering technologies for product development and manufacturing, alongside experience in project execution and global facility engineering under regulatory and quality frameworks.
Nice to have
- An advanced degree in Engineering or an MBA is preferred.
