A three-year CIFRE PhD position at Constellium Valais focusing on the creep resistance of new aluminum alloys for additive manufacturing, split between SIMaP and Constellium C-TEC.
This doctoral research role investigates the high-temperature mechanical behavior of novel aluminum alloys produced via Laser Powder Bed Fusion (LPBF). The candidate will characterize creep performance and analyze deformation and damage mechanisms, spending the majority of their time at the SIMaP laboratory with a smaller portion dedicated to Constellium C-TEC.
