WinGD seeks a Training Coordinator in Winterthur to manage global training logistics, administration, and customer relations within a dynamic, agile environment.
The company is hiring a Training Coordinator based in Winterthur to oversee training operations both locally in Switzerland and across its international network. This position serves as the central point of contact for coordinating events, managing administrative data, and supporting instructors and customers to ensure smooth delivery of technical training programs.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary administrator for the training mailbox, managing professional communication with clients, centers, and partners worldwide.
- Plan and coordinate training sessions held in Switzerland, ensuring alignment with global standards.
- Collaborate with WinGD Training Centers and external partners to organize joint educational events.
- Maintain office workflows and foster productive relationships with internal teams across the organization.
- Oversee the accuracy of training records and statistics, including data entry and verification within the specialized Training Administration software.
- Act as the subject matter expert and key user for the Training Administration software system.
- Process invoices for commercial training activities in Switzerland and for global Training Partners.
- Track payment statuses and execute monthly cost transfers to Finance and Project Teams.
- Support instructors by updating, formatting, and editing training documentation.
- Manage feedback surveys and facilitate customer visits at the Winterthur Training Centre.
- Procure and manage office supplies for the Switzerland Training Centre.
- Arrange logistical details for customer visits in coordination with Headquarters and ERIC.
Requirements
- A Bachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalent experience in technical coordination within the maritime sector.
- Fluent English proficiency (minimum B2 level) and functional German skills (minimum B1 level).
- Proven experience in customer and organizational coordination, with strong proficiency in MS Office applications such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with international colleagues and clients, showing high cultural awareness and sensitivity.
- Excellent organizational and coordination abilities, with the capacity to remain calm, assertive, and flexible under pressure while adapting to urgent requests.
Nice to have
- Proficiency in additional languages beyond English and German.
- Knowledge of marine crew certification requirements and regulations for the safe operation of commercial vessels.
