Applied AI Architect, Industries

Anthropic seeks a Senior Applied AI Architect in Zürich to support enterprise customers in adopting Claude. The role combines technical expertise with customer-facing skills to design safe, reliable AI solutions and guide deployments, working across Sales, Product, and Engineering teams in a hybrid model.

This position is for a Pre-Sales architect who serves as a trusted technical advisor to large enterprises, helping them understand the value of Claude and integrate it into their technology stack. The role combines deep technical knowledge with customer-facing abilities to design innovative LLM solutions that address complex business challenges while ensuring safety and reliability. The architect collaborates closely with Sales, Product, and Engineering to guide customers from initial discovery through successful deployment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with account executives to understand customer needs and translate them into technical solutions aligned with business goals.
• Act as the main technical advisor to enterprise clients throughout their Claude adoption, from initial discovery to deployment.
• Support customers using both the Claude API and Claude for Work.
• Develop and present technical content tailored to different audiences, including engineering teams and business executives.
• Guide architectural decisions and assist customers in integrating Claude into their existing technology environments.
• Help clients create evaluation frameworks to measure Claude’s performance for their specific applications.
• Identify recurring integration patterns and share insights with Product and Engineering teams.
• Occasionally travel to customer sites for workshops, technical sessions, and relationship-building activities.
• Stay current with advancements in LLM capabilities and implementation strategies.

Requirements

• 5+ years in technical customer-facing roles such as Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, or Technical Account Manager.
• Native or C1 proficiency in German and French, with fluent English skills.
• Experience working with enterprise clients and navigating complex purchasing processes involving multiple stakeholders.
• Background in designing scalable cloud architectures and integrating with enterprise systems.
• Comfortable working with Python.
