Associate / Global Medical Science Leader

Roche seeks an Associate or Global Medical Science Leader in Basel to drive medical strategy and evidence generation for Breast Cancer treatments on a global scale.

Positioned within Medical Affairs, this role ensures that the scientific rationale behind Roche’s products is effectively communicated to healthcare professionals worldwide. The incumbent bridges the gap between global development, strategy, and local affiliates to promote the informed use of innovative therapies.

Responsibilities

• Deliver specialized medical knowledge for Breast Cancer initiatives, supporting strategies for evidence creation, sharing, and insight generation.
• Plan and execute strategies for generating medical evidence, including overseeing clinical trials and analyzing real-world data.
• Synthesize medical insights to guide strategic decisions and support market access efforts.
• Coordinate with leading academic and clinical experts internationally to provide scientific guidance for clinical development programs.

Requirements

• Possess an MD, PhD, or PharmD degree.
• Demonstrate specialized training or professional experience specifically within the Breast Cancer field.
• Show strong background in medical affairs or pharmaceutical medicine.
