Global Medical Affairs Lead - Diabetes & Obesity

Nestlé seeks a Global Medical Affairs Lead for its Diabetes & Obesity portfolio in Vevey, Switzerland. The role involves defining global medical strategy, driving cross-functional collaboration, and engaging with external scientific experts.

The company is looking for a professional to define and execute the global medical and scientific strategy for the Diabetes & Obesity portfolio throughout its entire product lifecycle. This position requires close collaboration with research and development, commercial teams, local medical departments, and external scientific experts to ensure successful outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Shape evidence generation and guide product development across the entire product lifecycle.
• Connect research and development, commercial, and medical teams to ensure alignment and deliver impactful results.
• Partner with healthcare professionals, scientific experts, and associations to build strong external engagement.
• Provide high-quality medical education and scientific communication to healthcare providers and internal stakeholders.
• Translate scientific evidence into clear, relevant content to support markets and influence clinical practice.
• Monitor scientific developments and competitive activities to inform strategy and strengthen positioning.

Requirements

• Strong expertise in medical and scientific affairs within clinical nutrition or pharmaceutical environments.
• Ability to lead evidence generation strategies and translate complex data into actionable insights.
• Strong stakeholder management skills to influence cross-functional teams and external experts.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a global, matrix organization to drive alignment and impact.
• Fluent communication in English.
