Automation Quotation Engineer

Scherer & Bühler AG in Uzwil, CH, seeks a Mid-level Automation Quotation Engineer for a permanent hybrid role. The position involves creating quotation documents, providing technical leadership during the quotation phase, and ensuring compliance with Bühler directives and EHS standards.

The Automation Quotation Engineer is responsible for generating comprehensive quotation materials using internal tools, including pricing, concept drawings, and presentation content to support the sales process. They lead technical aspects during the quotation phase, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Create quotation documents using internal tools, including pricing, concept drawings, presentation materials, and other sales support content
• Lead technical aspects and provide direction for projects during the quotation phase
• Deliver quotation services on time and to required quality standards
• Ensure compliance with Bühler directives and EHS standards

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, or a related engineering field
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in an engineering role, preferably in quotation, project, or technical sales engineering
• Experience in industrial automation
• Proven ability to manage both technical and commercial elements of quotations
• Experience in layout preparation, technical concept development, and customer-facing discussions
• Proficiency in English
