This senior position provides strategic leadership for the premium powder business within the assigned region. The role serves as a key advisor to Global Cocoa and Chocolate teams, helping to define and implement long-term growth strategies while bridging the gap between sales operations and internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the regional growth plan for premium powder products.
- Analyze market trends, customer requirements, and competitor activities to create actionable business strategies.
- Align powder-related activities across different teams and regions, facilitating communication between sales and other departments.
- Establish and maintain a robust internal network to support daily operational needs.
- Manage cross-functional projects aimed at entering high-potential customer segments and geographic areas.
- Use data analytics and functional tools to identify new territories, preparing detailed market reports.
- Present annual demand forecasts for each sub-region and facilitate workshops on the competitive landscape.
- Foster strong professional relationships with counterparts in Global Cocoa and Chocolate Regions.
- Share best practices from both internal and external sources with the regional team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or Food Engineering.
- Over ten years of experience in sales, business development, or commercial leadership.
- Proven ability to structure and negotiate complex commercial agreements and partnerships.
- Strong strategic thinking, analytical skills, and financial understanding.
- Deep knowledge of market dynamics and sales processes.
- Capacity to lead and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Fluent proficiency in English.
- Willingness to travel regularly within the region and to other Barry Callebaut locations, averaging 40% of work time.

- Prior experience in B2B sales or the food industry.
- Proficiency in French.
