Card Operations Team Manager

Perk Yokoy seeks a Card Operations Team Manager to lead fraud strategy and operations for its global pay card program, managing a specialist team in a hybrid role based in Switzerland.

This position is responsible for directing the fraud risk strategy and daily operations of the Perk Pay Card Program. The manager will oversee a team of specialists, ensuring robust fraud prevention measures while optimizing authorization approval rates through close collaboration with product, engineering, and partner teams.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute the comprehensive fraud risk strategy for the Perk Pay Card Program.
• Direct all fraud prevention activities and operational workflows for the corporate card offering.
• Establish, deploy, and track risk policies and key metrics to balance high authorization approval rates with low fraud incidence.
• Partner with product and engineering departments, as well as external partners, to deploy effective systems and tools.
• Generate and share reports and strategic insights with internal stakeholders and external partners.
• Manage and guide a team of card operations specialists.

Requirements

• Deep understanding of payment authorization processes through major global card networks like Visa or Mastercard.
• Prior experience in fraud prevention roles within card issuing, network, or processing environments.
• Strong expertise in fraud prevention policies and systems for credit and debit cards, with a preference for corporate card experience.
• Proven ability to work with partner banks and regulators to meet reporting obligations and compliance requirements.
• Technical proficiency with strong customer authentication tools, payment authorization methods, and fraud rate management techniques, including 3D Secure, Transaction Risk Analysis, Risk Scoring Models, and Rule Engines.
• Demonstrated experience in managing teams to achieve deadlines and targets while maintaining client experience and enforcing controls.
• Background in fraud operations, including dispute management and chargeback handling.
• Strong communication and problem-solving capabilities.
