Chief Technology Officer

Enzianlabs, a Zurich-based stealth AI startup transforming real estate data management, seeks a Chief Technology Officer to lead technical development and scaling. The role requires full-time onsite presence in Zurich, with fluency in German and strong B2B product development experience.

Enzianlabs is a Zurich-based stealth startup founded in March 2026, focused on modernizing real estate construction and operations through AI-driven data infrastructure. The company has already secured its first paying pilot and is scaling rapidly, seeking a CTO to take over full technical leadership from its advisory network.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the end-to-end technical delivery, scaling, and management of the company’s product
• Lead technical discussions with stakeholders, document decisions in real time, and communicate them clearly to the architecture and engineering teams
• Guide key architectural choices for the platform, including Azure infrastructure, AI extraction model benchmarking, and initial data schema design, supported by technical advisors
• Supervise data audit and mapping for current clients in collaboration with the lead architect, who specializes in Microsoft Dynamics
• Lead client onboarding technically, including document ingestion, AI-powered asset record creation, and development of a portfolio dashboard for lifecycle decision-making

Requirements

• Full-time position based in Zurich
• Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Native or near-native fluency in German and solid command of English
• Proven experience in end-to-end B2B product development, including data schema, multi-tenant architecture, API design, and UX decisions
• Familiarity with LLM APIs and AI-based data extraction pipelines
• Hands-on experience with document AI and image recognition, including OCR on low-quality scans, handling mixed file formats, and extracting structured data from unstructured, real-world documents

Nice to have

• Background in proptech, construction tech, or enterprise SaaS
• Experience managing distributed or part-time engineering teams
• Exposure to ERP data interfaces or building management systems
• Familiarity with Swiss data regulations, including nFADSG and data residency requirements
