The company seeks a Senior Commercial Lead for Emerging Partner Markets to drive commercial excellence and strategy across Latin America, CEE, and MENA regions in a fully remote role.
This position serves as the central commercial liaison between the organization and its regional partners in Latin America, Central Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa. As a member of the EPM Leadership Team reporting to the Head of EPM, the role is critical for supporting the expansion of partner markets by ensuring high standards of commercial execution and strategic alignment.
Responsibilities
- Formulate and implement comprehensive business strategies for the CEE, MENA, and LATAM regions that align with global corporate goals.
- Oversee brand planning initiatives with partners and ensure the quality of their execution.
- Provide support for forecasting, annual operating plans, and long-range business planning activities.
- Act as the main commercial point of contact for distributors and commercialization partners.
- Facilitate governance meetings and conduct regular business reviews.
- Track key performance indicators and evaluate partner performance.
- Create and lead business cases for market expansion, new partnerships, and entry into new geographies.
- Refine partner models and commercialization approaches to adhere to the company's standards.
- Manage launch readiness and execution activities within partner markets.
- Mentor and develop the cluster Launch Excellence Leads.
- Perform detailed market analysis, competitive assessments, and gather customer insights.
- Ensure all operational activities comply with local regulations and internal company standards.
Requirements
- Over 15 years of experience within the biopharmaceutical industry.
- Demonstrated strong background in both marketing and sales.
- Proven track record as a Commercial Lead, Business Unit Director, or in a similar senior commercial leadership position.
- Extensive experience in specialty care areas such as immunology, neurology, rheumatology, oncology, rare diseases, or innovative therapeutics.
- Mandatory experience managing emerging markets and distributors, specifically in GCC, CEE, or LATAM regions.
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business, or a related discipline.
- Fluent proficiency in English.
Nice to have
- Previous employment with a distributor is considered a significant advantage.
- Experience working in mid-size to small biotech or pharmaceutical companies is preferred.
- Proficiency in Spanish or Arabic is a beneficial addition.
