The role ensures that dessert offerings meet the standards of upscale hospitality, including à la carte service, banquets, and breakfast items, while maintaining hygiene and workflow efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and organize patisserie items for high-profile guests, à la carte dining, banquets, and occasional staff meals.
- Create daily desserts using 80% fresh ingredients, including pralines, friandises, cakes, and sweet pastries for breakfast service.
- Develop innovative and visually appealing dessert creations.
- Address special guest requests with precision and a friendly attitude.
- Optimize kitchen workflows and maintain high-quality standards.
- Ensure strict compliance with hygiene and safety regulations in the kitchen.
Requirements
- Completed training as a confectioner or patissier.
- At least 3 years of professional experience in patisserie, preferably in upscale hospitality.
- Fluency in Italian.
- Additional proficiency in English or German.
