Consultant / Senior Consultant Banking – Geneva

Synpulse seeks a Consultant or Senior Consultant for its Banking practice in Geneva, focusing on strategic and technological challenges for Swiss financial institutions. The role is based in Zürich with hybrid work options.

This position supports major banks in addressing complex strategic, operational, and technology-driven issues within the Swiss financial sector. The consultant will also contribute to internal growth initiatives, assist in business development, and help establish the firm's footprint in the Geneva market.

Responsibilities

• Provide management consulting services to clients, focusing on strategic and operational projects.
• Develop business and technical concepts, and assist in planning and executing implementations.
• Cultivate strong relationships with clients and manage key stakeholders effectively.
• Take responsibility for specific subject areas within projects and ensure high-quality content delivery.
• Lead or contribute to project workstreams while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a reputable university or university of applied sciences.
• Professional work experience gained within Switzerland is required.
• Fluency in both French and English is mandatory.
• A strong interest in technology, IT, and artificial intelligence.
• Excellent analytical and conceptual problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to manage stakeholders.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
• A hands-on approach and an entrepreneurial mindset.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in German.
