Fioneer seeks a Senior Partner Strategy Consultant to lead finance transformation initiatives for banking clients in Switzerland. The role involves shaping client value propositions, driving strategic change, and collaborating with global stakeholders in a flexible, dynamic environment.

This position is part of a global team focused on transforming financial services for banks. The consultant will work with senior stakeholders to design and deliver strategic initiatives, combining deep industry knowledge with commercial insight to drive measurable outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead finance transformation projects for banking clients, guiding them from initial assessment through to execution and measurable results.
  • Support business growth by developing client relationships and contributing to revenue expansion through strategic engagement.
  • Engage with global strategic accounts, shaping their agendas and driving high-level interactions with senior executives.
  • Convert complex business challenges into clear, actionable transformation roadmaps using technology-enabled solutions.
  • Collaborate across product, delivery, architecture, and technology teams to ensure comprehensive transformation outcomes.
  • Interact with C-level executives, offering strategic advice on banking performance, risk, and transformation priorities.
  • Help strengthen internal capabilities by contributing to team development and evolving the finance transformation service offering.
  • Apply expertise in bank steering, including KPIs, accounting, and performance management, to guide financial transformation efforts.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 years in strategy consulting, with strong analytical skills and a history of leading complex transformation projects.
  • Deep expertise in finance for banks, including industry trends, regulatory environments, and competitive landscapes.
  • Solid knowledge of financial steering, including KPIs, accounting standards, and performance management practices.
  • Practical experience in financial transformation, including process redesign, operating model changes, and system integration.
  • Proven success in leading strategic change and navigating operational finance areas such as controlling, reporting, and planning.
  • Risk management experience, with the ability to identify, track, and reduce risks during transformation projects.
  • Comfort with digital tools, data models, and transformation platforms, demonstrating a high-tech affinity.
  • Fluency in English is required.
