Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) P&C Program Manager

Roche seeks a Manager to lead the global People & Culture disclosure strategy for the CSRD program, ensuring regulatory compliance, audit readiness, and strategic alignment with ESRS standards.

Positioned within the People Insights & Technology organization, this role bridges regulatory compliance and workforce insights. The incumbent is responsible for defining and executing the global P&C disclosure strategy, acting as the primary representative in cross-functional sustainability governance while ensuring the integrity of sustainability data and reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Define and own the global P&C disclosure strategy within the enterprise-wide CSRD framework.
  • Lead the identification, assessment, and management of P&C-related impacts, risks, and opportunities in line with European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS).
  • Manage the P&C CSRD sprint backlog, overseeing activities across chapters to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure full audit readiness for sustainability disclosures and Annual Report contributions, maintaining ultimate accountability for KPI integrity.
  • Govern end-to-end audit processes by collaborating with senior P&C stakeholders and external auditors.
  • Chair and develop the P&C CSRD Data & Strategy Forum to serve as a strategic decision-making body.
  • Design and implement enterprise-wide validation frameworks and reporting controls.
  • Provide strategic oversight of historical data and trend analysis.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on ESRS and the broader sustainability regulatory landscape.
  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation in P&C sustainability reporting practices.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree or equivalent in Business, Law, Sustainability, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in P&C data, governance, and operating models.
  • Proven leadership experience in complex, global organizations.
  • Strong strategic and systems-thinking capability.
  • Executive-level communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • High level of rigor in documentation, controls, and audit readiness.

Nice to have

  • Deep experience in sustainability/ESG reporting, with strong familiarity with CSRD and the EU Green Deal.
  • Experience engaging with regulators, auditors, or external reporting bodies.
  • Background in leading enterprise transformation initiatives across data, reporting, or governance domains.
