Responsibilities
- Direct and oversee EHS programs and projects to meet set timelines, scope, and budget.
- Coordinate cross-functional initiatives, ensuring alignment between site operations, technical functions, and global teams.
- Drive the implementation and rollout of EHS systems, tools, and initiatives.
- Ensure programme adoption and sustainability, monitoring effectiveness beyond initial deployment.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including site leadership and global functions.
- Monitor programme performance, including KPI tracking, reporting, and risk management.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and support cost-efficiency initiatives.
- Support the development and delivery of training and communication activities related to EHS programmes.
- Contribute to maintaining compliance with applicable EHS regulations and internal standards.
Requirements
- University degree in Environment, Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Professional experience in programme or project management within a regulated environment (e.g. pharmaceuticals, chemicals, or manufacturing).
- Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional initiatives in a matrix organisation.
- Experience in programme implementation and rollout, including stakeholder engagement and adoption.
- Strong understanding of EHS principles and regulatory requirements.
- Proven track record in stakeholder management and effective communication.
- Analytical and structured approach, with focus on performance metrics and outcomes.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Fluency in German and English.
Nice to have
- Experience in organisational change or transformation environments.
- Familiarity with digital tools, systems implementation, or data-driven processes within EHS.
- Certification as a Safety Specialist (SiFa) is advantageous, but not mandatory.
