EV Powertrain Solution Owner

Neuralconcept in Lausanne seeks a Senior EV Powertrain Solution Owner to lead the development of AI-powered engineering workflows for electric vehicle powertrains. The role involves collaborating with industry leaders to design and deliver scalable, production-ready solutions using CAD, CAE, and machine learning tools.

As EV Powertrain Solution Owner at Neuralconcept, you will leverage your engineering expertise to create and lead industry-specific workflows that integrate design, simulation, and data science. Your goal is to accelerate product development for customers by aligning technical solutions with real-world needs, while collaborating across teams to ensure the company’s offerings deliver measurable value.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver scalable, industry-specific solutions for electric vehicle powertrain applications.
• Gain deep insight into customer requirements and communicate clear value propositions.
• Track customer projects in your domain to ensure alignment and successful outcomes.
• Conduct discovery sessions with clients, validate proposed solutions, and expand product coverage across the design lifecycle.
• Lead and actively contribute in small cross-functional teams of CAD/CAE/ML engineers, from initial prototypes to production-ready systems.
• Align your vertical initiatives with the company’s overall strategy and feed industry feedback into the global product roadmap.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in engineering or product management within electric vehicle powertrain development.
• Practical experience prototyping with CAD, CAE, machine learning, and Python scripting to quickly validate ideas.
• Familiarity with the full engineering design process: from requirements and concept to modeling, simulation, validation, and release.
• Experience with data-driven engineering approaches.
• Background in systems design and fluency with engineering workflows and tools such as ANSA, OpenFoam, STAR-CCM+, Abaqus, Ansys Mechanical/Fluent/Icepak, and JMAG.
• Practical, results-oriented mindset focused on real impact rather than trends; open to innovative, unconventional approaches.
• Strong skills in customer discovery and empathy to understand and address client needs.
