Event Manager

The company seeks an Event Manager in La Tour-de-Peilz to oversee project execution and launch activities within its Business Growth Solutions team, ensuring timely and compliant market entry.

This position operates within Nestlé’s Business Growth Solutions organization, a global hub designed to help markets and businesses accelerate their speed-to-market. The role focuses on managing every step required to launch new projects or expand into new geographical areas, ensuring they go live on schedule, meet quality standards, and adhere to all regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage project execution from start to finish to guarantee that every launch is completed on schedule, meets quality standards, and complies with all regulations.
• Coordinate essential setup tasks, such as configuring transportation routes, creating vendor and customer accounts, and managing master data to ensure operational readiness.
• Track project timelines, identify key milestones, and proactively flag risks that could affect the success of a launch.
• Provide clear conclusions on material write-offs to support informed commercial decisions and reduce obsolescence.
• Maintain an accurate and up-to-date SKU portfolio from activation through discontinuation in alignment with business needs.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen first-time-right order placement and enhance ways of working.

Requirements

• Experience in coordinating cross-functional projects and managing product lifecycle activities from launch to discontinuation.
• Strong understanding of master data, supply chain processes, and operational readiness requirements.
• Analytical thinking to identify root causes, challenge existing processes, and drive improvements that enhance launch performance.
• Collaborating effectively with business managers, supply chain partners, and stakeholders to ensure transparency and alignment.
• Fluent English communication.
