Event Manager - Marketing Communications

Kanadevia Inova seeks a Mid-level Event Manager in Zürich to lead end-to-end event planning and execution, integrating marketing campaigns and brand positioning for global waste infrastructure solutions.

This position supports the company’s mission to transform waste into valuable resources like energy and fertilizer. The role focuses on managing international events that strengthen brand presence and drive lead generation within the sustainable technology sector.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the complete lifecycle of events, from initial concept and planning to execution and post-event analysis.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and materials to ensure cost efficiency and high-quality outcomes.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to align operations and drive continuous improvement.
• Align event strategies with broader marketing initiatives to enhance brand positioning and generate leads.
• Develop and maintain corporate merchandise and apparel to reinforce brand identity.
• Establish and refine event management workflows, templates, and quality standards.
• Ensure all event outputs and communications are technically accurate and consistent with brand guidelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience in managing corporate events from start to finish.
• Strong project management capabilities, including handling budgets, schedules, and diverse stakeholders.
• Proven track record of smooth on-site execution and effective troubleshooting.
• Experience integrating events into marketing campaigns and lead-generation strategies.
• Excellent organizational skills to handle multiple events and deadlines simultaneously.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities in an international context.
• Native-level German proficiency and business fluency in English.
