STMicroelectronics seeks a Senior Executive Assistant to support the President and senior leadership of its Global Sales & Marketing organization at the Geneva headquarters, managing complex calendars, communications, and executive coordination.
This position sits within the Sales & Marketing division at the Geneva headquarters and delivers top-tier administrative and executive support to the President alongside other senior leaders. The role operates within a large, multinational team of roughly 2,500 professionals spanning Europe, Asia, and the Americas, requiring strong coordination across multiple regions and time zones.
Responsibilities
- Schedule and manage the calendars, priorities, and daily agendas for the President and senior Sales & Marketing leaders, including organizing, coordinating, and following up on essential meetings.
- Serve as the primary gatekeeper and trusted liaison for internal and external contacts, handling all incoming and outgoing correspondence with discretion and clear information management.
- Collaborate with executive assistant colleagues globally to maintain consistent processes, share best practices, and ensure operational efficiency.
- Plan and coordinate internal and external meetings and events, including those with senior management and key customers, preparing and distributing all necessary materials ahead of time.
- Arrange all travel logistics and process related expense reports for leadership.
- Provide support in creating executive presentations, documentation for leadership reviews, and global communications.
- Coordinate global communications and webcasts alongside HR and Business Communications teams to support the S&M President.
- Leverage digital platforms like Teams, SharePoint, and Power BI to maintain effective information flow, documentation, and storage.
- Monitor and facilitate approval workflows within the S&M President’s office, such as customer creation requests, order changes, and sample orders, ensuring compliance with internal governance.
- Partner with cross-functional teams including Finance, HR, IT, Supply Chain, and Legal to execute and follow up on executive directives.
Requirements
- Eight to ten or more years of experience in an executive assistant capacity supporting senior leadership in a large multinational corporation.
- Proven track record of acting as a trusted business partner with high integrity, discretion, and sound judgment when managing confidential data.
- Ability to anticipate needs, navigate ambiguity, and proactively address challenges in a fast-paced executive setting.
- Exceptional organizational, prioritization, and time-management capabilities, with comfort handling competing demands under pressure.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of influencing and collaborating across cultures, geographies, and seniority levels.
- Confidence interacting with C-suite executives, external partners, and top customers; ability to provide constructive pushback when necessary.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages is a strong advantage.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital collaboration tools; familiarity with Power BI, SAP, Salesforce (SFDC), or similar commercial systems is beneficial.
