Field Service Technician - Mechanic

Bobst seeks a Senior Field Service Technician to lead complex machine installations, repairs, and training for clients in Poland. The role combines technical expertise with pre-sales support to drive customer success.

As the primary on-site representative for Bobst, this position ensures the efficient installation, maintenance, and repair of advanced packaging machinery. The technician plays a key role in supporting new sales initiatives and enhancing the company's market position through high-quality service and customer training.

Responsibilities

• Execute reactive repairs and high-level installations for complex machinery.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and inspections at client sites following company schedules.
• Deliver operator and maintenance training to ensure proper machine usage.
• Mentor fellow technicians and share technical knowledge across the global team.
• Support pre-sales activities and help identify new business opportunities.
• Implement productivity improvement programs and adhere to reporting standards.
• Travel frequently to customer locations to perform assignments and provide support.

Requirements

• Technical education in mechanical or electrical fields.
• Native proficiency in Polish.
• Communicative English skills for both speaking and writing.
• Prior experience in customer support or service organizations.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively.
• Ability to manage cash and administrative tasks while on the road.
