Global Payroll & HR Systems Manager

Lastminute.com Group seeks a Global Payroll & HR Systems Manager in Chiasso, CH, to lead global payroll operations and HR systems. The role requires 7+ years in global payroll and HRIS administration, with expertise in Workday, SAP, or Oracle, and involves managing compliance, vendor relationships, and system improvements across multiple countries.

This position is part of the People Operations team and reports to the Head of Payroll. The manager will oversee global payroll and HR systems for a company with around 1,700 employees worldwide, focusing on operational excellence, compliance, and system optimization.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of global payroll operations across countries, ensuring accuracy, timely processing, and adherence to local regulations.
• Manage global HR Systems (HRIS/HCM) as the primary administrator, driving continuous improvements and system enhancements.
• Lead HRIS implementation and upgrade projects, ensuring smooth integration with finance and other internal systems.
• Maintain compliance and security standards for global payroll and HR systems.
• Coordinate with external payroll providers and HRIS vendors across different regions.
• Create and maintain global reporting metrics for payroll, HR data, and system performance to support leadership decisions.
• Offer expert advice on best practices for HR systems configuration and data integrity.

Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in global payroll management and HR Systems administration, including tools like Workday, SAP, or Oracle.
• In-depth understanding of multi-country payroll processes and regulatory compliance.
• Proven track record in leading HRIS implementation, integration, and optimization projects.
• Strong ability to manage the global HR Systems environment independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication skills in English are required.

Nice to have

• Prior experience in a travel or technology company environment.
• Familiarity with People Operations & Administration in additional European or non-European countries is beneficial.
• Proficiency in any additional language is an advantage.
