Head of Content

Xapo seeks a Senior Head of Content to lead organic acquisition and engagement strategies remotely. The role focuses on SEO, multi-channel production, and team leadership within the fintech sector.

This position treats content as a primary driver for user acquisition and engagement rather than a purely branding activity. The successful candidate will be responsible for growing organic traffic, improving search rankings, and increasing sign-ups through a consistent, high-quality content output across various digital channels.

Responsibilities

• Drive new member acquisition by optimizing organic traffic and conversion rates.
• Manage keyword rankings, domain authority, and overall organic search growth.
• Maintain a strict content production schedule using a centralized calendar.
• Provide line management and performance oversight for content creators and editors.
• Track and improve channel-specific engagement metrics, including email open rates, social interactions, and video completion.
• Generate regular reports detailing traffic, conversions, engagement, and ranking performance.
• Collaborate with Growth, Product, and Compliance teams to align content with acquisition goals while adhering to regulatory and brand standards.

Requirements

• Over seven years of experience in content strategy and production.
• At least three years in a leadership role (Head of or Director) within fintech, crypto, or a similar regulated, high-growth digital environment.
• Proven history of improving content-driven acquisition and SEO performance.
• Practical experience creating content at scale for web, social, email, and video platforms.
• Strong knowledge of technical and content SEO best practices.
• Experience leading teams to meet specific output volume and quality benchmarks.
• Solid understanding of the crypto and digital banking industries.
