Internal Audit Manager (w/m/d)

Infinigate Group seeks an Internal Audit Manager in Zug to lead audit engagements, strengthen internal controls, and support the newly formed Internal Audit Department.

This position sits within Infinigate Group's newly established Internal Audit Department and reports directly to the Head of Group Internal Audit. The role plays a vital part in maintaining robust internal controls and risk management practices that align with industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Head of Internal Audit in creating and carrying out the audit plan and setting functional priorities.
• Oversee the execution of audit engagements to ensure high quality, consistency, and strict adherence to established methodologies.
• Enhance the internal control environment by spotting gaps and helping implement effective controls.
• Deliver risk-based insights and actionable recommendations to improve processes and operational efficiency.
• Communicate audit findings to management and business owners with clarity, impact, and accountability.
• Track audit recommendations by monitoring implementation progress and addressing delays or weaknesses.
• Serve as a central coordination point across entities to ensure alignment and effective communication.
• Contribute to ad-hoc and strategic projects that help evolve the Internal Audit function.

Requirements

• Hold a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Possess at least 5 years of experience in Internal Audit, ideally within an international setting.
• Demonstrate a strong grasp of internal control frameworks and regulatory requirements.
• Show proven experience in planning and executing audit engagements, including risk assessment and control evaluation.
• Have solid experience in identifying and assessing risks, with the ability to propose practical mitigation actions.
• Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Display excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Be able to work independently while collaborating closely with senior leadership.
• Maintain a proactive mindset, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments.

Nice to have

• Professional certification such as CIA or CPA is highly desirable.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics NAV/Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central) is considered a strong advantage.
