ANYbotics is seeking an intern in Zürich to develop 3D perception and AI algorithms for mobile robotics, focusing on simulation, inspection tasks, and robot autonomy.
This internship places candidates at the intersection of robotics, 3D perception, and interactive digital twins. The position centers on configuring robots prior to deployment, setting up inspection tasks, and simulating robot behaviors to enhance autonomy and application performance.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineering and research teams on active software stack projects.
- Develop, test, and validate new algorithms and features for robot autonomy and applications.
- Enhance testing infrastructure, simulation environments, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented C++ and Python code for real-time robot operation.
- Integrate new software modules and third-party libraries into the existing system.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Robotics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Strong academic background in mobile robotics topics like Control Theory, Machine Learning, or Computer Vision.
- High proficiency in Python and/or Modern C++.
- Familiarity with Git, Docker, and AI-assisted development tools.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Proactive, analytical mindset with a strong desire to learn and solve complex problems.
Nice to have
- Experience training AI models using GPUs, CUDA, or other accelerated computing frameworks.
- Knowledge of Robotics Middleware such as ROS or ROS 2.
