LGT seeks a Junior Portfolio Advisor for a 6-month fixed-term role in Zürich. The position focuses on portfolio construction, client support, and requires fluency in English and Mandarin.
Responsibilities
- Analyze, build, and optimize investment portfolios.
- Create tailored investment strategies and consolidate assets for clients.
- Assist relationship managers in acquiring and keeping clients.
- Reach out to clients with advisory mandates to highlight investment and rebalancing options.
- Work closely with internal teams, including research, trading, the Chief Investment Officer’s office, and compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Several years of hands-on experience in investment advisory, portfolio management, or fund management.
- Solid understanding of major asset classes and financial markets.
- Strong analytical abilities paired with a solution-focused approach.
- Excellent communication and networking capabilities, maintaining a professional demeanor with clients.
- Fluency in both English and Mandarin is mandatory.
Nice to have
- Financial analytical training or certifications like CFA, CIIA, or CAIA.
- Proficiency in additional Asian languages.
