Junior Portfolio Advisor APAC (f/m/d) - temporary for 6 months

LGT seeks a Junior Portfolio Advisor for a 6-month fixed-term role in Zürich. The position focuses on portfolio construction, client support, and requires fluency in English and Mandarin.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze, build, and optimize investment portfolios.
  • Create tailored investment strategies and consolidate assets for clients.
  • Assist relationship managers in acquiring and keeping clients.
  • Reach out to clients with advisory mandates to highlight investment and rebalancing options.
  • Work closely with internal teams, including research, trading, the Chief Investment Officer’s office, and compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Several years of hands-on experience in investment advisory, portfolio management, or fund management.
  • Solid understanding of major asset classes and financial markets.
  • Strong analytical abilities paired with a solution-focused approach.
  • Excellent communication and networking capabilities, maintaining a professional demeanor with clients.
  • Fluency in both English and Mandarin is mandatory.

Nice to have

  • Financial analytical training or certifications like CFA, CIIA, or CAIA.
  • Proficiency in additional Asian languages.
