Tethys Robotics seeks a Management Assistant Intern in Zürich to support the CEO and COO in strategy, operations, and company building within a fast-growing underwater robotics startup.
This position is situated at the core of the organization, providing direct assistance to the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer. It offers a unique opportunity to observe and participate in the rapid expansion of a deep-tech venture from the inside.
Responsibilities
- Assist the CEO with investor relations, strategic planning, market analysis, customer engagement, and commercial matters.
- Help the COO establish internal operational frameworks, including HR workflows, onboarding procedures, IT infrastructure, office management, quality records, legal administration, and internal software tools.
- Draft and prepare updates for board meetings.
- Review and screen job applications.
- Refine and update onboarding checklists.
- Manage and organize office infrastructure.
- Coordinate and prepare for customer site visits.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in or recently completed studies in Business Administration, International Business, Engineering Management, Entrepreneurship, Hospitality Management, or a closely related discipline.
- Professional fluency in English.
- A structured and reliable approach, with the ability to create order and clear next steps in chaotic environments.
- A hands-on attitude and readiness to take ownership of both practical and analytical tasks.
- Excellent communication skills, enabling effective interaction with founders, engineers, candidates, clients, and external partners.
- Proficiency with digital tools, including Microsoft 365, Confluence, CRM systems, and AI applications.
- Ability to produce clear documents, presentations, summaries, and process descriptions.
Nice to have
- German language proficiency is highly valued.
- Prior experience in student projects, startups, founder roles, assistant positions, consulting, or other broad organizational roles.
- A strong interest in startups, technology, robotics, maritime industries, or deep-tech company building.
