Manager FP&A Cocoa Sourcing

Barry Callebaut seeks a Manager FP&A for Cocoa Sourcing in Zürich to lead financial analysis, valuation, and reporting for its global sourcing operations.

This position serves as a central figure within the Global Cocoa Finance team, focusing on financial analysis, performance reporting, forecasting, and valuation for Barry Callebaut’s Sourcing division. The role collaborates with trading, logistics, risk, and accounting groups to ensure financial transparency and support strategic decisions, offering insight into commodity markets, derivatives, and international trade.

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly financial closing and reporting processes for the Sourcing unit.
• Handle daily commodity valuations and prepare weekly mark-to-market reports.
• Conduct financial analysis on trading results and shifts in commodity markets.
• Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to aid forecasting and budgeting efforts.
• Evaluate supply chain expenses and operational performance metrics across the sourcing network.
• Convert intricate financial data into clear, actionable insights for business partners and trading teams.
• Participate in the wider Global Trading & Sourcing financial planning and performance management cycles.
• Enhance valuation methods, reporting accuracy, and analytical tools continuously.

Requirements

• A university degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field, or comparable professional experience.
• Five to eight years of background in FP&A, controlling, audit, transaction advisory, corporate finance, or similar analytical roles.
• Deep knowledge of derivatives finance and financial markets.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in advanced Excel and PowerPoint.
• Hands-on experience with SAP or comparable ERP systems.
• Fluent command of English.

Nice to have

• A genuine interest in commodity markets.
• Familiarity with Power BI, SQL, data analytics, or programming is advantageous.
• Knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
