MoleSense Sàrl seeks a Senior MEMS Engineer in Epalinges to develop bio-inspired microdevices using advanced simulation techniques. This on-site role focuses on translating natural design principles into functional micro-scale engineering solutions.

This position centers on the application of nature-inspired microengineering within the MEMS field. The successful candidate will leverage a deep understanding of bio-inspired design principles to address complex micro-scale engineering challenges, bridging the gap between biological concepts and technical implementation.

Responsibilities

  • Create and execute simulation models for MEMS devices that draw inspiration from natural systems.
  • Evaluate structural integrity, thermal properties, and fluid dynamics behaviors at the micro-scale.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to incorporate simulation findings into the product development process.
  • Refine designs to enhance performance, reliability, and manufacturability based on simulation outcomes.
  • Monitor and integrate the latest advancements in bio-inspired engineering and MEMS technologies.

Requirements

  • Proven expertise in simulation tools and methodologies specific to MEMS applications.
