Sonar seeks a Senior NetSuite & Payroll Systems Administrator in Geneva to manage ADP and NetSuite systems, ensuring accurate payroll processing and financial data integrity for global operations.
This position is central to Sonar's financial and payroll infrastructure. The successful candidate will manage the global ADP payroll platform and the NetSuite ERP system, guaranteeing that payroll runs smoothly and that the underlying data remains precise for financial planning.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full setup and configuration of ADP (Workforce Now preferred) to guarantee timely, precise, and compliant payroll across all entities.
- Control user permissions and governance within ADP, while working with HR and Finance to handle payroll cycles, staff changes, and regulatory duties.
- Oversee data connections between ADP and NetSuite, ensuring payroll journals, employee details, and cost allocations transfer correctly and on time.
- Resolve payroll issues, liaise with ADP support, and handle system updates.
- Administer the NetSuite environment, including user access, roles, workflows, saved searches, and module setups like P2P and Multi-book.
- Assist with month-end closing and maintain NetSuite as the reliable source for financial data.
- Drive change management by documenting, testing, and implementing system updates with appropriate controls.
- Ensure financial systems meet ITGC and SOX compliance standards.
- Work with Finance to feed NetSuite actuals into FP&A tools like Pigment accurately.
- Gain a solid grasp of FP&A workflows, including budgeting and variance analysis, to aid data validation and reporting.
- Help with integration and data quality tasks between NetSuite and financial planning platforms as needed.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience administering ADP (Workforce Now preferred), covering configuration, payroll workflows, compliance, and system integrations.
- Minimum 5 years of NetSuite administration experience in a multi-entity or global setting; NetSuite Administrator certification is advantageous.
- Hands-on experience connecting payroll, HR, and financial systems using APIs or native connectors.
- Background in supporting internal controls (ITGC) and SOX compliance for financial systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline.
Nice to have
- Understanding of FP&A processes (budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis) and experience with at least one FP&A or EPM tool (Pigment, Anaplan, Adaptive Planning, or similar); deep expertise is not mandatory.
- NetSuite Administrator certification is a plus.
- Experience with Carta, FloQast, BambooHR, or Aptitude is beneficial.
