On-Site IT Support Specialist

Celerion seeks an On-Site IT Support Specialist in Fehraltorf (Zurich) to provide primary IT support for its Swiss site, ensuring compliance and enabling scientific teams.

This position acts as the main IT contact for Celerion's Swiss operations, supporting scientists and clinicians to help accelerate the development of new therapies from the lab to patients.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary on-site IT contact and escalation lead for the Zurich location.
• Provide full desktop and systems support for Microsoft OS, M365, Adobe, Oracle, Citrix, and Defender.
• Carry out IMAC tasks and perform preventative maintenance.
• Offer hands-on support for Windows Server, Active Directory, and local network infrastructure.
• Manage and resolve daily support activities via the ticket management system.
• Support local backup, restore, and archival processes.
• Lead endpoint deployment and imaging activities using Intune, SCCM/MECM, and Autopilot.
• Ensure endpoint and infrastructure systems comply with GxP and data-integrity regulatory requirements.
• Provide IT onboarding training for new hires and ongoing end-user guidance.
• Assist with on-site cabling, local switch installation, and network equipment troubleshooting.

Requirements

• Post-secondary education in IT or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• 3–5 years of proven technical support experience spanning desktops, servers, and networks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are required.
• Full on-site availability in Fehraltorf/Zurich is required.

Nice to have

• Fluency in German is highly preferred.
• Microsoft certifications (Azure Administration, Windows Server Hybrid Administration, or Modern Desktop Administration Associate) are a distinct advantage.
• Experience in regulated environments, including lab instrumentation support, is advantageous.
