Evonik seeks an Entry-level Panel Board operator in Switzerland to manage complex systems, ensure quality through rigorous testing, and maintain equipment safety and efficiency.

The company is looking for a Panel Board operator to oversee intricate production systems. The role focuses on optimizing output and product quality while troubleshooting equipment issues and supporting new product trials under guidance.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex machinery and adjust operational parameters to enhance both productivity and product quality.
• Execute trials for new products and devise strategies to resolve intricate inefficiencies.
• Perform routine operational tasks using established protocols and systems to support daily activities.
• Assist in the installation of sophisticated systems and conduct equipment inspections with supervision.
• Diagnose equipment faults for emergency repairs and perform scheduled preventive maintenance.
• Carry out detailed quality tests and inspections that demand a high degree of independent judgment.
• Adhere strictly to HS&E policies to identify risks, mitigate hazards, and protect environmental and personal safety.

Requirements

• Secondary education level, equivalent to five GCSEs.
• Familiarity with and experience in straightforward operational procedures or systems.
• Strong verbal communication skills capable of functioning without direct supervision.
• Competence in implementing safe work systems independently.
• Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize tasks to meet business goals with guidance.
• Capacity to interpret and understand policies and procedures with guidance.
• Skill in creating action plans based on recommendations and requirements with guidance.
• Ability to produce clear, effective reports with guidance.
• Capability to identify, assess, and manage production risks with guidance.
