PCB Designer

Coopers Group AG seeks a Mid-level PCB Designer in Zürich for on-site, full-time work. The role focuses on creating multi-layer PCB layouts and schematics while ensuring signal integrity and EMC compliance.

This position is responsible for developing and maintaining printed circuit board designs. The role requires translating electrical specifications into functional, manufacturable layouts that adhere to strict design rules, signal integrity standards, and electromagnetic compatibility requirements.

Responsibilities

• Generate and update PCB layouts and schematics utilizing Altium Designer.
• Design multi-layer boards that meet specific design rules, signal integrity standards, and EMC guidelines.
• Work alongside hardware and systems engineers to convert electrical specifications into production-ready board designs.
• Conduct design reviews and assist with Design for Manufacturability and Design for Testability assessments.

Requirements

• Demonstrated professional background in PCB design and layout, with a preference for Altium Designer proficiency.
• Educational background in electrical engineering or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Practical expertise in multi-layer PCB design, covering signal integrity, power distribution, and EMC factors.
• Maintains a structured and collaborative approach to work.
• Fluent English communication skills.
