Responsibilities
- Manage the entire dissertation process independently
- Conduct research alongside industrial collaborators
- Design and carry out experimental procedures
- Evaluate and interpret data obtained from experiments
- Draft and submit research papers for peer-reviewed journals
- Deliver presentations at global scientific meetings
- Engage in teaching activities and mentor student projects
Requirements
- Hold a Master of Science degree
- Possess academic or professional background in photonics, physics, chemistry, material science, or electrical engineering
- Demonstrate fluent proficiency in English
Nice to have
- Practical experience with free space optics, microscopy, nonlinear optics, or ultrafast spectroscopy
- Knowledge of French, German, or Italian is considered advantageous
