Platform Manager

Crypto Finance seeks a Senior Platform Manager in Zürich to ensure operational excellence, high availability, and stakeholder support for its financial technology platforms.

This position sits at the intersection of technology, operations, and client service. The incumbent is responsible for the operational excellence of Crypto Finance’s platforms, guaranteeing high availability, managing production incidents, supporting stakeholders, and driving continuous improvements.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily platform operations to guarantee stability, performance, and high availability.
• Monitor systems and resolve production issues to minimize business disruption.
• Support institutional clients with platform integration, troubleshooting, and technical assistance.
• Verify that all clients pass conformance testing certification prior to production launch.
• Configure and maintain platform settings according to specific business and client needs.
• Track and prioritize tickets for production issues and improvements, maintaining an active backlog.
• Evaluate platform performance regularly and implement changes to boost reliability, speed, and scalability.
• Assist with ongoing product initiatives and serve as a deputy for the Product Manager when required.
• Ensure timely delivery of platform upgrades.
• Collaborate with internal teams, external clients, and vendors to meet business needs and resolve issues quickly.
• Ensure the platform complies with all relevant security, regulatory, and compliance standards.
• Maintain comprehensive platform documentation and a knowledge base.

Requirements

• At least three years of experience in platform operations, technical product management, or systems support within the financial services sector.
• Proven hands-on experience operating or managing production-grade financial technology platforms.
• Experience with production incident management and root cause analysis.
• Strong understanding of API-based integrations and system connectivity (e.g., FIX, REST, WebSocket).
• Proficiency in ticketing/backlog management tools (Jira preferred).
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interface with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Familiarity with regulatory and compliance frameworks relevant to financial markets.

Nice to have

• Experience in digital asset / cryptocurrency infrastructure.
• Knowledge of trading systems, order management or market making.
• Experience with high-frequency or low-latency systems.
• Familiarity with DORA (Digital Operational Resilience Act) requirements.
