Product Manager, Vertical Solutions

Neural Concept seeks a Product Manager for Vertical Solutions in Lausanne to drive AI-powered engineering workflows through discovery, roadmap ownership, and cross-functional collaboration.

This pivotal, cross-functional position bridges product, engineering, and customer-facing teams. The role focuses on transforming common engineering use cases into streamlined, production-grade workflows powered by AI technologies.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full product lifecycle for a specific vertical solution, covering discovery, delivery, and continuous iteration.
• Conduct customer discovery activities, including leading interviews to validate problem-solution fit and translating insights into a clear product strategy and backlog.
• Define, prioritize, and document requirements while making strategic roadmap trade-offs to ensure the team focuses on high-impact outcomes.
• Utilize AI-based development tools and hands-on prototyping, such as scripting, to quickly de-risk ideas and deliver working solutions to customers.
• Collaborate closely with engineers specializing in CAD, CAE, and ML to transition solutions from prototype to production-ready status.
• Monitor adoption rates and value delivery across customer projects within the assigned vertical, feeding these insights back into the global product roadmap.
• Ensure that vertical-specific initiatives remain aligned with the broader company strategy.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in product management, owning a product or product area end-to-end, preferably in an enterprise or technical B2B setting.
• Practical experience with AI-based development tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot) and scripting languages like Python.
• Background or exposure to industries such as consumer electronics, automotive, turbomachinery, aerospace, or semiconductor manufacturing.
• Familiarity with engineering software used in CAD/CAE/PLM workflows, such as SolidWorks, NX, ANSYS Mechanical, Abaqus, or Teamcenter.
• Understanding of end-to-end engineering design processes, including requirements, concept, modeling, simulation, validation, and release.
• Strong skills in customer discovery and empathy.
• Ability to operate effectively across engineering, data science, and customer-facing teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
