Bachem seeks a Project Manager for SCM in Bubendorf for a 12-month contract. The role supports the Global Supply Chain Management Network & Demand Center team in an industrial setting.
This position serves as a temporary assignment designed to bolster the Global Supply Chain Management Network & Demand Center team. The primary objective is to facilitate the company's ongoing organic growth by ensuring robust supply chain coordination and project support.
Responsibilities
- Act as the main liaison for supply chain inquiries within customer project teams and meetings.
- Align supply chain efforts across cross-functional CMC teams, working closely with Supply Planning, Direct Procurement, and Customer Service.
- Manage and update supply chain data, reports, and tracking metrics using SAP and other relevant systems.
- Identify potential risks, escalate issues when necessary, and help create mitigation strategies.
- Track supply chain readiness and ensure timely completion of open action items.
- Engage in continuous improvement efforts and assist in rolling out new processes, tools, and training programs.
Requirements
- Several years of experience in Supply Chain or Operations Management within the pharmaceutical or chemical industry.
- Demonstrated ability to organize tasks effectively and manage multiple priorities with a structured approach.
- A university degree or equivalent qualification in business administration or a related field.
- Fluent command of English.
- Practical experience with SAP applications.

- Working knowledge of the German language.
